His Royal Highness Prince Henrik has Passed Away
I have had two specific occasions to meet and talk to His Royal Highness; in 2008 during the State Visit and again in 2015 during the State Visit to Indonesia. On both occasions, His Royal Highness expressed great interest in participating Danish companies’ possibilities in a market far away from home. How they were planning to overcome challenges and how to engage into commercial relations with the local business communities. In Jakarta, I had the honour to discuss at great length about his birthplace, Hanoi, where the Prince spent his childhood and early youth. During both State visits, His Royal Highness’ insightfulness of the importance of Denmark’s and Danish businesses’ involvement in foreign markets was significant. His presence was at ease and his sense of humour without parallel. Those of us who have enjoyed His Royal Highsness' company, will recognise how elegantly he could transform a formal activity into a personal and warm affair.
I am sure that we all will agree that he shall be greatly missed in the endeavours to represent Denmark.
On behalf of all our AndersenB2B members, the Andersen Consult team offers its condolences to the Royal Family.
