Filippino B2B partner is now looking into Europe

Fisherfarms, an AndersenB2B partner in the Philippines that we met during a business delegation to Manila in January, is now successfully initiating its exports of milkfish to European markets. This week, SeafoodSource published an article about Fisherfarms' new adventure outside Southeast Asia.

Despite its health benefits, mild taste and juiciness, the recognition of milkfish outside Southeast Asia is rather limited. However, after thorough market research and development of several new milkfish products and flavours, Fisherfarms is now ready to push the product to new markets, SeafoodSource reports.

Fisherfarms is confident that the national fish of the Philippines soon reaches global market shares. The CEO, Imelda Madarang, commented to SeafoodSource: “A lot of big guys in Europe have started to get interested in our products”.
