AndersenNews December 2016
Christmas is upon us...
And it is time for a well deserved break for everyone.
2016 has been another active year for Andersen Consult. Highlighting especially our two business delegations to the Phillippines as well as to Nigeria and Tanzania. Our cooperation with Business incubator Mid Denmark’s export competence building DALGAS programme, active training activity to boost export readiness and strengthen existing talents. We have worked closely also with the maritime programme MARCOD with an aim to strengthen growth potential in maritime companies getting those ready for execution of business development in practice.
We have secured NOPEF funds to our clients to support their planning and business exploration activities. One of the most exciting funding tasks this year has been the cooperation with Cold Flood Prevention ApS to successfully secure this company with financial support from the Danish Markedsmodningsfonden to increase its presence in the Asia Pacific region. The company’s PVC flood prevention barriers are highly relevant to replace sand bags in a much more cost effective, environmentally safe and flexible manner.
We also advised on ship building in Asia, promoting Danish fishing technology in a number of markets and supporting a long list of clients with their commercial project activities.
2017 will be no less active, and we are kicking off the new year with two business delegations; week 2 to HCMC, Vietnam. Week 3 to Colombo, Sri Lanka. Business is thriving in these markets, and we will work to secure our clients’ access there. We are moreover planning delegations to Marocco, Myanmar, the Philippines and Iran. More about these projects in the new year.
With best wishes for a merry christmas and a happy new year,
The Andersen Team
